Emily was so helpful, skilled, and friendly. I highly recommend her services. I have an autoimmune condition and despite my medications being at the appropriate doses (based on blood work) I still felt tired, had insomnia, constipation, and some brain fog. I didn't know why I wasn't feeling good like before my autoimmune diagnosis but refused to believe that was as good as life would be in my mid-30's. Through MRT testing, I learned of SEVERAL sensitivities I have to foods that I was consuming (in some cases overconsuming) on a regular basis, so no wonder I felt so bad!
Throughout the long journey of the Gut Wellness plan, I had a lot of questions! So much of this was new to me and most of the sensitivities I have are found in many different foods, some listed under different names. She was always quick to respond through the messenger on her platform and very thorough in her responses to me so I had clear direction on what I should be eating/avoiding. She was also encouraging and flexible to work within my specific needs, which I appreciate.
It has been about 4 months since I completed the Gut Wellness plan and worked through the LEAP diet with Emily and I can say that I feel so much better! I no longer have insomnia, my bowel habits are normal/regular, generally I do not feel fatigue, I don't really need caffeine anymore, and I don't typically have brain fog. I feel like I have the knowledge to know what I can eat and what might make me feel a little tired/constipated the next day. Sometimes I do splurge for a night out with friends and am not strict with avoiding things I am sensitive to, but now I am more aware of how my body feels after I eat those things, so I can be selective about when/if I eat them and still enjoy social, food-related events.
If you aren't feeling as good as you want to, I would recommend at least having an introductory call with Emily to see if this is the right program for you. It was hard work at first to cut out so many foods from my diet, but I am glad I stuck with it and feel so much better now that I've completed the plan.
I am to the point I want more specific meal planning recommendations for my day-to-day life to hit certain macronutrient goals to further achieve my health and wellness goals. I look forward to working with Emily on this, too.
